Ingredients:
- 2 lbs fresh clams, scrubbed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Crushed red pepper flakes optional
- Crusty bread for serving
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute
Add white wine and bring to a simmer
Add clams to the skillet, cover, and cook until they open, about 5-7 minutes
Discard any unopened clams
Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using
Serve immediately with crusty bread for dipping
